My Responsibilities at Great Lakes Legal Team:
I started in the legal field in 1979, during which time I have worked as a Legal Secretary and/or Legal Assistant/Paralegal in many different areas of the law. I have a strong litigation background, but most recently for the past 5 years I have focused my attention on Collections.
My position as the Collection Paralegal at Great Lakes Legal Team involves me directly assisting clients with all of their collection needs, from start to finish, including preparing lawsuits, following-up on service of process, monitoring files and calendaring dates to obtain judgments, and subsequently all post-judgment remedies, including performing skip-tracing, scheduling creditor’s examinations, preparation of garnishments, writs of execution (seizure orders), judgment liens and monitoring payments from debtors. I partner with process servers, court officers and court personnel on a daily basis.
Hobbies:
My hobbies include interior decorating, home improvement/renovation, gardening and landscaping. I have two grown children. I am an avid animal lover, but my true passion is cats.
